1.1 本标准规定了以下用途打桩设备的安全规范：
——使用桩或其他纵向构件进行基础、连续墙或基础支护结构的施工；
——桩的拔除；
——施工排水桩或使用喷射法进行基础施工。
桩的材料可以是木材、混凝土（预制或现场灌注)或钢材(钢管或轧制的型钢等)。此外，桩可以具有互锁的特点，使相邻的桩联成一体。
