GB 22793的本部分规定了有关家用儿童高椅的安全要求，目的是最大限度地减少儿童高椅和用作儿童高椅的多用途高椅在正常使用或合理性可预见误用时导致的事故。
本部分不适用于可变换成矮椅，矮椅和矮桌以及具有婴儿学步车、推椅、摇椅、汽车椅和可躺的低椅等高椅的附加功能。
本部分不适用于由儿童相互之间在高椅内玩耍可能引起的事故或伤害，或者由3岁以上的儿童滥用或误用时造成的事故。
