本标准规定了工业锅炉的能效等级、能效限定值、节能评价值及试验方法。本标准适用于以煤、油、气为燃料的，额定蒸汽压力大于0.04 MPa，但小于3.8 MPa， 且额定蒸发量不小于0.1 t/h的以水为介质的固定式钢制蒸汽锅炉和额定出水压力大于0.1 MPa的固定式钢制热水锅炉。
