本标准规定了为增加重型和长型车辆、低速车辆及其挂车后部可见度而使用的标志板的技术要求、试验方法和检验规则等。
本标准适用于：
a） 重型和长型车辆包括：
1） 铰接式的Ⅱ级和Ⅲ级M类车辆；
2） 除半挂牵引车外的N3类车辆；
3） 长度超过8.0 m的O1、O2和O3类车辆；
4） 以及O4类车辆；
b） 低速车辆：由于结构原因，其最高设计车速不大于40 km/h的M、N、O类车。
