本标准规定了教学用书写板（粉笔板和白板）的安全卫生要求、书写板外观质量、结构、分类、安装、标志、说明书和试验方法等。
本标准适用于各级各类学校在普通教室、实验室和其他专用教室中使用的书写板。其他教学活动和交流、记事、宣传等使用的书写板可参照使用。
本标准不适用于告示及电子记忆传输显示书写板。
本标准不涉及书写板的电器控制部分，相关内容可参照相应的电器安全要求。
