本标准规定了体育用品电气部分（以下简称器械）的术语和定义、分类、基本要求、电击危险防护、输入功率、工作温度下的泄漏电流和电气强度、防水耐潮湿、发热和非正常工作、结构、外部和内部接线、接地装置、电气间隙和爬电距离、耐热耐燃、防雷、机械安全防护、标志和说明。
本标准适用于单相额定电压不超过250 V，其他额定电压不超过480 V体育器械的安全。
本标准不适用于医疗康复器械、船艇、飞行器、汽摩类、航模、车模器械的电气部分。
