本标准规定了投影机的能效限定值、节能评价值、能效等级、试验方法和检验规则。
本标准适用于以投影为主要功能，高压汞灯或金属卤化物灯为光源的液晶显示（LCD）和数字光学处理（DLP）投影机。固态光源投影机和以硅基液晶（LCOS）为显示器件的投影机等可参照执行。
本标准不适用于投影屏幕与投影机组成的一体式投影单元和用于影院放映的专业投影机。
