GB 3836的本部分规定了爆炸性气体环境用电气设备增安型“e”的设计、结构、检验和标志要求。本部分适用于额定电压不超过11 kV(交流有效值或直流)、采取一些附加措施保证在正常运行或规定的异常条件下不产生危险温度、电弧和火花的电气设备。
本部分是对GB 3836.1—2010通用要求的补充和修改，如果本部分的要求与GB 3836.1—2010的要求有冲突，则以本部分为主。
注： 增安型“e”可形成设备保护级别EPL Mb或EPL Gb，详细信息见附录I。
