Scope of Application:
This standard specifies the methods for determining fumonisins in food using immunoaffinity column purification followed by post-column derivatization high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS), and immunoaffinity column purification followed by pre-column derivatization HPLC.
This standard applies to the determination of fumonisin B1, fumonisin B2, and fumonisin B3 (hereinafter referred to as FB1, FB2, FB3) in grains and their products, infant cereal-based supplementary foods, and vegetable oils and fats.
