Scope of Application:
This standard specifies the methods for the determination of vitamin D in food.
The first method, normal phase chromatography purification-reversed phase liquid chromatography, is applicable to the determination of vitamin D2 and vitamin D3 in foods fortified with ergocalciferol or cholecalciferol.
The second method, online column switching-reversed phase liquid chromatography, is applicable to the determination of vitamin D2 and vitamin D3 in foods.
The third method, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, is applicable to the determination of vitamin D2 and vitamin D3 in foods.
