GB/T 10066的本部分适用于由用于熔化、保温和升温用的工业有心感应炉和无心感应炉组成的电热装置。
本部分的目的是使测定由上述类型炉子组成的电热装置的基本参数和技术特性的试验方法标准化。
除本部分4.2.1中a）、b）、c）所给出的安全试验项目外，其余试验项目不是强制性和约束性的。为了表征和评估炉子的性能，可以按需要从所列项目中选择试验项目；也可以附加试验项目，但宜由所涉炉子的制造厂和用户商定。
