本部分适用于按4.1、5.1和5.2的要求设计，主要用于在自然气氛中进行钢材和铸铁等材料的正火和退火等处理，以及在保护气氛中进行钢或铜基合金的带卷、丝卷等材料的退火的罩式电阻炉。
本部分也适用于类似的罩式电阻炉，不同部分可另作规定。
