本标准规定了船用B级磁罗经、罗经柜和方位读数仪(简称磁罗经及附件)的要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存等。
本标准适用于有或没有常平架的液体磁罗经。
本标准不适用于：
a) 干式度盘的磁罗经；
b) 按不同于上述原理设计的罗经或不符合给定说明的罗经。
注： 对用于艇长小于24 m的磁罗经，本标准不再作任何规定。
