GB/T 10801的本部分规定了绝热用挤塑聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料(XPS)的分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、标签、使用说明书和包装、运输、贮存。
本部分适用于使用温度不超过75 ℃的绝热用挤塑聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料(XPS)，包括添加石墨等红外阻隔剂的挤塑聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料(参见附录A)，也包括带有表皮和不带表皮的挤塑聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料、带有特殊边缘结构和表面处理的挤塑聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料。
本部分也适用于预制构件和复合保温系统的绝热用挤塑聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料。
