本标准规定了船用锅炉及压力容器（以下简称锅炉及压力容器）及其受压部件、附件的强度和密性试验要求、试验程序和试验结果评定。
本标准适用于设计压力不大于9.8 MPa，介质为水及蒸汽的锅炉；设计压力不大于6.4 MPa，介质为水或空气的压力容器。
