本标准规定了铝合金铸件（以下简称铸件）射线照相检测的人员要求、底片要求、缺陷分级、等级评定和评定记录。
本标准适用于透照厚度不大于50 mm的铝合金铸件射线照相检测的缺陷分级。
本标准不适用于铝合金压铸件。
本标准不适用于裂纹、浇不足、偏芯、冷隔及表面不规则等缺陷的分级。
