GB/T 11618的本部分规定了铜管尺寸连接按GB/T 18033的钎焊式铜管管件（以下简称钎焊管件）的分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本部分适用于公称压力不大于1.6 MPa，公称通径不大于DN 300 mm，用于输送生活用水（冷水、热水）、饮用水、燃气及对铜无腐蚀作用的其他介质铜管路用钎焊式管件的设计、制造和验收。
