本标准规定了簇绒地毯产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、标签和包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于合成纤维、羊毛及羊毛混纺纤维为绒头原料，将纱线通过簇绒机刺入底基布形成绒头列，在地毯背面涂敷粘合剂固定绒头，或贴敷背衬的簇绒地毯。以其他纤维材料为绒头的簇绒地毯也可参照使用。
