本标准适用于热带地区固定使用的旋转电机。
热带型旋转电机(包括大、中、小型及小功率电机，以下简称电机)应符合本标准的规定。凡本标准未作规定及说明者，应符合GB 755—2000、GB/T 5171—2002及其相应产品的专用技术条件的规定。
