本标准规定了钢质模锻件（以下简称“锻件”）的分类、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标识、质量合格证书、包装和运输。

本标准适用于模锻锤、热模锻压力机、螺旋压力机、平锻机等锻压设备生产的结构钢模锻件。其他钢种的锻件亦可参照使用。

本标准作为产品设计部门确定锻件技术要求和供需双方签订技术协议的依据，也可作为锻件的验收依据。
