本标准规定了干湿法消化后采用火焰发射光谱法或火焰原子吸收光谱法测定绝缘用纸浆、纸和纸板中钠含量的方法。
本标准适用于各种绝缘浆、纸和纸板，本标准也适用于普通的纸浆、纸和纸板，但试料量需根据钠的含量进行调整。
检出限根据所使用的仪器而定，干湿法消化后用火焰发射光谱法测定，钠的检出限可达2 mg/kg。
