GB/T 12690的本部分规定了稀土金属中钙含量及其氧化物中氧化钙含量的测定方法。
本部分适用于稀土金属中钙含量及其氧化物中氧化钙含量的测定。共包含三个方法：方法1电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法，方法2火焰原子吸收光谱法，方法3电感耦合等离子体质谱法。方法1测定范围见表1，方法2测定范围:0.010%～0.30%，方法3测定范围:0.000 2%～0.050%。当三个方法的分析范围出现重叠时，若试样为镧、铈、铕、钆、铽、铥、镱、镥、钇及其氧化物时，以方法1作为仲裁方法；若试样为镨、钕、钐、镝、钬、铒及其氧化物时，以方法3作为仲裁方法。
