本标准规定了以人工对比试样的反射信号为依据，检测钛及钛合金管材不连续性缺陷的超声波探伤方法。
本标准适用于外径为6 mm～80 mm、壁厚为0．5 mm～4．5 mm，壁厚与外径之比不大于0．2的冷凝器和热交换器用钛及钛合金无缝或焊接管材的超声波探伤。其他用途的钛及钛合金管材超声波探伤可参照使用。
