本标准规定了地质水样中226Ra/228Ra放射性活度比值的分析方法，其中，226Ra用射气法测量，228Ra通过其子体228Ac在低本底β装置上测量。
本标准适用于地表水、地下水、铀矿坑水和铀工厂废水中226Ra/228Ra放射性活度比值的分析，环境污水、海水及固体样品经过相应处理后也可参照使用。
测定范围：226Ra比活度3.6×10-3Bq/L和228Ra比活度3.5×10-3Bq/L以上的各种比值。
