GB/T 13337的本部分规定了固定型排气式铅酸蓄电池（以下简称蓄电池）的技术条件，包括技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存试验等。
本部分适用于开关操作、安全保护装置、信号系统、电信装置、计算机、紧急事故照明以及各种直流电源用蓄电池及蓄电池组。
本部分不适用于固定型阀控式铅酸蓄电池和储能用铅酸蓄电池。
