本标准规定了机座外径不大于90 mm的电子类家用电器用电动机的产品分类、技术要求和试验方法、检验规则、交付准备等。本标准适用于DVD录放机、录音机、摄像机、照相机、微波炉、取暖器、电子玩具、剃须刀、程控器、CPU风扇、手机等电子类家用电器电动机如交流感应电动机、串激电动机、永磁直流电动机、无刷直流电动机、同步电动机、超声波电动机、步进电动机等。本标准也适用于不用机座外径表示机座号的其他结构型式电子类家用电器用电动机。
