本标准适用于二氧化铀芯块中总氢的测定，测量氢的质量分数范围为0.15 μg/g～20.00 μg/g。
加热二氧化铀芯块温度超过2 360 ℃时，一氧化碳氧化剂的消耗量显著增加。在确保氢释放完全的情况下控制加热温度不超过2 360 ℃能有效减少一氧化碳氧化剂的消耗。
