GB/T 13773的本部分规定了采用条样法对接缝的缝合处施加垂直方向的力，测定其接缝承受最大力的方法。
本部分适用于机织物及其制品，也适用于其他技术生产的织物。本部分不适用于弹性机织物、土工合成材料、非织造布、涂层织物、玻璃纤维织物以及碳纤维和聚烯烃扁丝生产的织物。
接缝织物根据产品要求或有关各方的同意，可以从缝合制品中获得，也可以用织物样品制备。
本方法仅适用于直线接缝，不适用于较大弯曲的接缝。
本方法规定采用等速伸长（CRE）试验仪。
