本部分规定的电缆可用于传输音频信号和综合业务数字网的2B+D速率及以下的数字信号，也可用于传输2 048 kbit/s的数字信号或150 kHz以下的模拟信号。在一定条件下，也可用于传输2 048 kbit/s以上的数字信号。
