本标准规定了风冷、单作用、一般用途的有油润滑微型往复活塞空气压缩机（以下简称“空压机”）的型号和基本参数、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装和贮存等要求。
本标准适用于额定功率为0.18 kW～15 kW的电动机或相当功率的内燃机驱动的、额定排气压力不超过1.4 MPa的空压机。
本标准也适用于额定功率为18.5 kW、额定排气压力为0.5 MPa的空压机。
