本标准规定了硬磁盘驱动器头堆组件的技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存等。
本标准适用于符合GB/T 12628—2008的63.5mm(2.5in)和90mm(3.5in)硬磁盘驱动器的头堆组件。其他尺寸的头堆组件（以下简称产品）可参照本标准。
