本部分规定了机械产品高海拔环境条件的环境参数及其严酷等级。
本部分适用于1 000 m～5 000 m高海拔地区使用的一般用途的机械工业产品。包括农机具、内燃机、工程机械、矿山机械、石化通用机械、电工产品、仪器仪表、机床工具、通用零部件、重型机械、起重运输机械等。
本部分不适用于高海拔地区存在爆炸危险介质、矿井等特殊环境条件下使用的机械产品。
