本标准规定了船用饮用水净化装置（以下简称净化装置）的分类与标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存等。

本标准适用于船舶和海洋平台上，以贮存于淡水舱的生活饮用水为进水，工作压力为0.2 MPa～0.6 MPa的净化装置的设计、制造和验收。
