本标准规定了大中型水轮机进水阀门的基本技术条件和型号编制方法等。
本标准适用于水轮机进水阀门公称直径1 000 mm~10 000 mm的蝴蝶阀，公称直径500 mm~5 000 mm的球形阀。其他（包括蓄能泵和水泵水轮机）的蝴蝶阀、球形阀可参照本标准执行。
