GB/T 14506的本部分规定了硅酸盐岩石中44个元素量的封闭酸溶电感耦合等离子体质谱（ICP-MS）测定方法。
本部分适用于硅酸盐岩石中锂、铍、钪、钛、钒、锰、钴、镍、铜、锌、镓、砷、铷、锶、钇、锆、铌、钼、镉、铟、铯、钡、镧、铈、镨、钕、钐、铕、钆、铽、镝、钬、铒、铥、镱、镥、铪、钽、钨、铊、铅、铋、钍和铀等44个元素量的测定，也适用于土壤、沉积物样品中上述元素量的测定。
本部分不适用于三氧化二铝含量高于20%的样品中元素量的测定。
测定范围：见附录A。
