GB/T 14513的本部分规定了一种使用简单数值计算的方法，在不经过测量的情况下，利用构成系统的元件和管道的流量特性，来估算整个系统的流量特性。
本部分所使用的公式都是用来描述压缩空气在亚声速流和壅塞流状态下通过元件的流量特性。
注： 管子、消音器和过滤器的流导受进口压力影响， 其C值和b值仅在确定的进口压力下有效。
本部分也适用于GB/T 14513未规定的元件等效流量特性的计算。
