本标准规定了1 GHz～40 GHz范围内，视距微波接力通信系统（以下简称微波接力系统）与空间无线电通信系统共用频率时站址与频率的选择、功率限值、最小仰角和功率通量密度等的技术要求。
本标准适用于微波接力系统，不适用于超视距无线电接力通信系统和具有高灵敏度接收机的对流层散射通信系统。本标准不包括卫星广播业务与地面无线电业务共用频率的情况。
