本标准规定了石油沥青玻璃纤维胎防水卷材（简称沥青玻纤胎卷材）的分类和标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输与贮存。
本标准适用于以玻纤毡为胎基，浸涂石油沥青，两面覆以隔离材料制成的防水卷材。
