本标准规定了用荧光分光光度法和高效液相色谱法测定饲料中维生素B1含量的两种方法。
本标准方法1适用于饲料原料、配合饲料、浓缩饲料中的维生素B1的测定。方法的定量限为1 mg/kg（在有吸附硫胺素或影响硫色素荧光干扰物质存在的情况，本方法不适用）。该方法所测定的维生素B1包括内源性以及添加量总和。
本标准规定的方法2适用于复合预混合饲料、维生素预混合饲料的测定。方法2的检出限为3 mg/kg；定量限为15 mg/kg。
