本标准规定了一般蒸汽往复泵、蒸汽往复热油泵的型式与基本参数、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、铭牌和包装。
本标准适用于输送温度不高于130 ℃的清水及运动黏度不超过850 mm2/s的石油制品及化学性质类似的其他液体的一般蒸汽往复泵；适用于输送温度不高于450 ℃的石油制品的蒸汽往复热油泵。输送温度不低于-40 ℃的液化气泵可参照使用本标准。
注: 本标准正文中的简称“泵”系指一般蒸汽往复泵和蒸汽往复热油泵的联合简称。
