本标准规定了三相电压不平衡的限值、计算、测量和取值方法。
本标准适用于标称频率为50 Hz的交流电力系统正常运行方式下由于负序基波分量引起的公共连接点的电压不平衡及低压系统由于零序基波分量而引起的公共连接点的电压不平衡。
电气设备额定工况的电压允许不平衡度和负序电流允许值仍由各自标准规定，例如旋转电机按GB 755要求规定。
瞬时和暂时的不平衡问题不适用于本标准。
