B/T 1630的本部分规定了环氧树脂命名方法。
该命名方法赋予每个产品一组字符用以命名,并以代号的形式给出产品信息：化学组成、主要性能近似值和改性剂、溶剂、添加剂。
因此，具有同一特性并有相同用途的产品将给予同一命名。这将有助于用户在制造厂在其产品的命名数据表中选择产品。
