本标准规定了用大面积流气式2 π多丝正比计数管绝对测量α粒子发射率的原理、装置、方法及数据处理等。
本标准适用于面积不大于170 mm×130 mm，且α粒子发射率在1×10 s-1~1×104 s-1（2 π sr）范围的α平面源。
本标准也可作为β粒子发射率测量的参考。
