本标准规定了农业灌溉滴头、滴灌管及其配套接头的机械性能、技术要求和试验方法以及制造厂为保证滴头、滴灌管及其配套接头在田间正确安装和使用应提供的资料。
本标准适用于具有或不具有压力补偿功能，且流量不大于24 L/h(冲洗期间除外)的滴头、与滴水元件制成一体的滴流和涓流灌溉的滴灌管、滴灌带(包括可折叠滴灌带)或管系，也适用于连接滴灌管、滴灌带或管系的专用接头。
本标准不适用于渗灌管(沿整个长度上渗水的管道)。本标准未涉及管道堵塞方面的性能要求。
