GB/T 17417的本部分规定了稀土矿石中钪量的测定方法。
本部分适用于稀土矿石，也适用于铍矿石，锂、铷、铯矿石，锆矿石和岩石中钪量的测定，结果以三氧化二钪量表示。
测定范围为：0.2  μg/g～500  μg/g的三氧化二钪。
