本标准规定了用平底孔对比试块，以超声波水浸法或接触法检验锻制圆饼（以下简称圆饼）方法的适用范围、检测人员、检验仪器和设备、对比试块、检验条件和步骤、缺陷评定、质量保证规定和检验报告。
本标准适用于截面厚度不小于8 mm的转动（如涡轮盘、压器机盘等）锻制高温合金和合金钢圆饼缺陷的超声波检验。其他用途圆饼的超声波检验经供需双方协商可参照使用。
