本标准规定了膜级聚酯切片（PET）的产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志和包装、运输、贮存的要求。
本标准适用于以对苯二甲酸、乙二醇为主要原料生产的膜级基料聚酯切片和添加剂为二氧化硅或其他无机盐的膜用母料聚酯切片，其他添加剂的膜用母料聚酯切片可参照使用。
本标准不适用于片材用聚酯切片。
