本标准适用于具有特殊要求的高技术泵的研究、开发、验收及需要精密检测水力性能的试验。
本标准适用于在试验台或是在现场试验的实型泵和模型泵。
本标准既适用于不带管路附件的泵本身，也适用于连接全部或部分上游和/或下游管路附件的泵组合体。
本标准不适用于蓄能泵。
