GB 18241的本部分规定了烟气脱硫衬里（以下简称衬里）的分类和标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输与贮存。
本部分主要适用于贴合在湿法工艺烟气脱硫装置上，防止装置受到湿热的二氧化硫烟气、冷凝硫酸、石灰水悬浮液、氯化钙溶液等介质的腐蚀的衬里。
本部分也适用于其他类似湿法脱硫工况条件的烟气脱硫装置。
