本标准规定了用环法测定胶乳表面张力的方法。
本标准适用于黏度小于200 mPa·s的胶乳。为此，应将胶乳用水稀释，使其总固体含量（质量分数）为40%。如有必要，总固体含量应进一步减少，以确保其黏度在规定值之内。
本方法也适用于预硫化胶乳和配合胶乳。
